This stroller is ideal for your first child, if you want to have child number two a couple of years (or less) down the road. The only thing missing (luckily) is the siren and flashing lights. The padded rear seat has a 3 point harness and provides a nice resting place for an older child when they need to settle into a nice comfy seat. If your child is younger than 2 1/2, the seat is adjustable and padded so longer rides are comfortable and enjoyable. Car seat compatible means no waking your sleepy baby. For your smaller child, the front seat has all the bells and whistles. Suitable for children 6 months to 45 pounds, this special edition includes a reversible All-Season Pad. One side is made with a moisture wicking nylon fabric great for warmer weather and the other side is a warm fleece which is great for cooler weather. The pad is also machine washable! A new take on the traditional double stroller, this one weighs a lot less and is perfect for baby and toddler. From the front, it doesn't look like a double stroller. I really like the fact that it can accommodate your little one and you have room for your next. It eliminates a large future purchase! With two kids, I wish I had known about Joovy. It would have saved me a lot of money! You will not look silly pushing just one child. The back seat is not obvious, unless you have a child standing or riding. The back seat is also great for holding a shopping bag or two when not in use. It is ultra-maneuverable because it has sealed ball bearing wheels. I love the huge deluxe sunshade. Most strollers that I have used have a nonfunctional sunshade. You will actually be able to use this one! There is a huge basket below. Roomy enough for my diaper bag and a few small toys or other little necessities.
