Just around the corner from St. Augustine's picturesque "Oldest House" you'll find what is unquestionably St. Augustine's "oldest inn," the St. Francis Inn. Dating from 1791, the Inn embodies the rich history and culture of the nation's oldest city, and visitors are invited to delve into the stories that comprise its colorful past.

We stayed at "Our Beach House" last year. It's one of their beautiful properties and it's located steps from the beach. We had the luxury of dining at the historic St. Francis Inn each morning. The Inn is charming, and the staff was wonderful! I am looking forward to visiting again, and my entire family still dreams about their waffles! St. Francis Inn has been designated a Green Lodging facility by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. St. Francis Inn achieved this recognition based on its green practices in water conservation, energy efficiency, waste reduction, improved air quality, recycling, and other areas of operations. This was my first experience at a bed and breakfast. It was a terrific experience and I enjoyed the coziness of the Inn and the chance to mingle with other guests.
Disclosure: I was not obligated to share this post. I hope you consider St. Francis Inn for your next vacation!
