Atlanta History Center’s Annual Day of the Dead Festival!

The Atlanta History Center’s annual Day of the Dead festival is scheduled for Sunday, October 28th from Noon to 5PM.
Held in collaboration with the Instituto de Mexico and the Mexican Consulate for 11 years, this annual festival is a free outdoor event complete with storytelling, crafts, and authentic Mexican food, drinks, and entertainment. A display of elaborately decorated altars honoring lost loved ones highlights the event.
As an additional treat for their guests, the Atlanta History Center offers a special half off admission to the museum during Day of the Dead inviting guests to discover the museum while viewing the award-winning exhibitions, gardens and trails, and historic houses!
